Question 1

What is FarmWork Connect?

Accepted Answer

FarmWork Connect is a farm labour platform. Workers use it to find and apply for farm work and to log their hours. Farmers and contractors use it to post listings, build crews, track daily work, and run payroll.

Question 2

Do I need an account to browse jobs?

Accepted Answer

No. You can browse and search job listings without signing up. You only need an account to apply for work, post a listing, or use the management and payroll tools.

Question 3

Which profile should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Pick Worker if you are looking for work, Farmer if you own a farm and hire workers, or Contractor / Crew Leader if you run a crew as a business. You choose during sign-up and can change it later from your profile.

Question 4

Is the app available on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. FarmWork Connect works in any modern mobile browser, so you can log hours or review applications straight from the field.

Question 5

How do I apply for a job?

Accepted Answer

Open any listing and send an application with a short message. Some employers add their own questions, and some confirm applications instantly without a review step.

Question 6

Can I save listings or get alerts for new work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Save listings to your wishlist for later, and create job alerts by location, season, wage or keyword so you're told when matching work is posted.

Question 7

How do I record the work I've done?

Accepted Answer

Once your employer adds you to a logbook, it appears in your account. Add your daily entry — hours, buckets, bins or pounds, depending on how the work is paid — and it goes straight to your employer.

Question 8

How do I know if my entries were approved?

Accepted Answer

Each entry shows whether it has been approved and paid, and your timesheets show their period and current status so you always know where things stand.

Question 9

When and how do I get paid?

Accepted Answer

Your employer pays you directly. FarmWork Connect tracks your hours, timesheets, rates and payment status, but it does not process or hold wages.

Question 10

What are crews and crew chats?

Accepted Answer

A crew is a group of workers managed by a farmer or crew leader. If you're invited to one you can accept, then coordinate with the team in the crew chat.

Question 11

How do I post a job listing?

Accepted Answer

Create a listing with your farm details, the work and wages, hours per day, accommodation and any custom questions you want applicants to answer.

Question 12

How long does a listing stay live?

Accepted Answer

Listings run for 7 days and you can renew them from your listings page. You can also pause a listing at any time if the position is filled.

Question 13

Can I make my listing stand out?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Listing boosts place your job higher in search results for a set period, with local, country-wide and worldwide options.

Question 14

How do I build my crew?

Accepted Answer

Invite registered users by email, or add manual workers for people who don't use the app. You can name crew managers and keep notes and worker numbers for each member.

Question 15

Can someone else manage my logbooks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Assign a crew manager or farm helpers to a logbook so they can add daily entries and keep the records up to date without full access to your account.

Question 16

How do payroll reports and advances work?

Accepted Answer

Timesheets feed straight into payroll reports. Record any cash advance you give a worker and it will show against their earnings, ready to export for your records or accountant.

Question 17

What does FarmWork Connect cost?

Accepted Answer

Browsing jobs, applying and the core tools are free. A subscription unlocks the full business and payroll features, and listing boosts are one-time purchases. Current plans and prices are shown inside the app before you pay.

Question 18

How do I change or cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Manage your plan from your account. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Question 19

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Request deletion from your account settings. Your profile and data are then removed from the platform.

Question 20

Is my information private?

Accepted Answer

Your contact details are only shared with the people you apply to or work with. See our Privacy & Terms page for the full detail.
