We are on a mission to modernize the agricultural workforce — connecting dedicated farm workers, skilled contractors, and thriving farms through technology built from the ground up by people who know the land.
Our Story
FarmWork Connect was born from firsthand experience on the ground. After years of managing farms, building crews, and working alongside seasonal workers, we experienced the same frustrations every harvest season: finding reliable workers, managing communication, and keeping workforce records organized. We knew there had to be a better way.
In 2025, we set out to change that. We built FarmWork Connect to give every farmer, contractor, and seasonal worker the tools they deserve — seamless hiring, transparent communication, digital timesheets, and a platform that travels with the seasons. We are just getting started.

Yrick Gamache
Co-Founder
With more than 25 years of experience in the farming industry, Yrick has worked on farms across different sectors and travelled around the world following seasonal agricultural work. Through years of hands-on experience, he gained a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both farmers and workers during every harvest season. Passionate about innovation and practical solutions, he brings decades of agricultural knowledge and real-world experience to the development of FarmWork Connect. His vision is to modernize the agricultural workforce industry by creating tools that simplify hiring, improve communication, and help workers keep track of their seasons and progress.
Michael Picard
Co-Founder
With extensive experience in agriculture, workforce management, and project leadership, Michael has managed multiple farms throughout British Columbia's Okanagan region and spent many years recruiting, building, and coordinating agricultural labor crews. Holding a Certificate in Project Management from UBC and bringing experience from several energy-sector projects, he combines operational expertise with a deep understanding of the challenges facing today's agricultural workforce. Drawing on firsthand experience working with both growers and seasonal workers, Michael co-founded FarmWork Connect to modernize hiring, simplify workforce management, and strengthen connections between farms and the people who help them succeed.
